The fifth annual Steeplechase Distance Run will include a 10K fall marathon prep and a 5K run/walk. All courses are USATF certified and run through scenic neighborhoods and landscapes providing enjoyable routes that runners of all ages and experience levels will enjoy. Participants are encouraged to run/walk in honor or in memory of loved ones. Proceeds are earmarked for education programs at The Steeplechase Cancer Center.

The 2012 Steeplechase Distance Run raised more than $172,000 for the Steeplechase Cancer Center. More than 1,300 runners and walkers from all backgrounds came together to compete, to support the Steeplechase Cancer Center, to honor friends and family, and to celebrate their own recoveries.  Many of the participants formed teams and ran/walked in honor of or in memory of a loved one touched by cancer. It was a truly inspirational day. See photos from the 2012 race.
